The word Kindred means “a group of persons related to another; family, tribe or clan” and an adjective is “having the same belief, attitude, or feeling.” I have changed the spelling with “Ken” to honor my late father who believed in me so much but will never get to see what I have finally done. Shock and grief changed me. Part of Kendred Bakery is my journey to finding out who I am now that he is gone and I make sure I live a life that brings him honor.  I believe in a life where we support each other and create a community that lifts others up. It isn’t just about food; it’s a way of life and for some, necessary FOR life.
